About this Print:
Living in Michigan can make for a long winter. I was itching to get out of the house and into my perennial beds as soon as possible last year. I wanted to see how my bulbs were popping up. On one of those Technicolor spring days when the sky is a brilliant blue with white, puffy, picture-perfect clouds, I noticed that my tulips were finally blooming. They were in a bed I had planted in my front yeard the previous fall. To capture the beauty of these vibrant tulips against the blue sky, I leaned down and took some photos from a bug's-eye view. In fact, there's even a tiny bug crawling up one of my tulip's stems. Bugs have a great view of the world, don't you think
